Sorry for any weirdnesses in the layout of this log if you're reading it in its HTML rendering, I'm trying out Marc's latest activeRenderer tool updates, and all is not quite well.

Found out what that third big brown, as yet unopened, box in the lab, is: a depowderer. Using it looks like quite a manual process.

I'm still alive, just very busy. Enjoying my TiBook and the iPod that John Marriott loaned me (the latter is every bit as elegant as claimed—I was really blown away). Had a good, if long, meeting with my advisor on Monday.

Spent some time today trying to get OpenSSH compiled with Kerberos 5 support, using this patch. No luck, posted to krbdev and hopeful someone else will know what's going on here.

Our lab got a 3D printer (with associated waxer, and depowderer) today. I'll be really interested to see what its output looks like…
