launch 1.0a7 released a few hours ago. Includes some improvements that bring it closer to being a command-line 'Get Info' replacement, and a few bug fixes.

rdiff-backup looks like a nice, no-hassle mirror/backup solution. Intrafile differencing is something Retrospect can't do for the most part as seeks on tape are so slow.

A nice summary with some useful tips about the zsh shell. zsh and tcsh are the two shells provided with Mac OS X, and personally I can't see many reasons to use tcsh. bash will also be included in OS X 10.2 as the default 'sh', because it is more compatible than zsh.

Had an idea of how to do automatic updating last night; it took a while but here it is:

WebDAV tool 1.1b1 posted. It's only marked beta because it hasn't been tested by more than 3–4 people; there are no known bugs.
