As if by magic, I can't print from OS X. Observe the ever-helpful error message (and its Console counterpart). What file or directory? Why capitalize “Error” and “Occurred” but not “while”? I'm sure “Receive data file response: 65” means something to someone…
My workaround, for now, is to save a PDF and print from Acrobat Reader running in Classic. Everything works fine there. And to think I used to complain about desktop printing being slightly flaky… at least deleting and recreating the printer was enough to fix it!
